LA GERBE
The Charity association La Gerbe is a French NGO founded in 1988 which is active in the fields of social support and international solidarity. The association supports a professional integration project constituting a logistics platform whose activity allows the collection of domestic and medical equipment sent abroad in support of local charities in Bosnia, Romania, Ukraine, Morocco, Cameroon and Democratic Republic of Congo. La Gerbe has been operating for more than 15 years on the basis of trusted partnerships with local actors.
MEDAF
MEDAF is a humanitarian association whose goals are the support of several medical structures in Africa as well as the training of local medical personnel. She has been particularly active for 30 years in the training of nurses and midwives in Chad.
COEUR DE COMPASSION
The Heart of Compassion is a non-profit association under Congolese law. Its director and founder is Dr. Tony Elonge.
The association acts for the development of the province of Sankuru, particularly in terms of health, childhood and education.
It focuses on:
– Assistance to vulnerable populations in the field of health and education.
– Construction of care centers and training places.
– Help with self-care for the populations
– Training of medical and paramedical personnel.
In addition to the Otema Hospital, the association has set up numerous initiatives: the La Maison du Père orphanage, the La Gerbe school of excellence and the Sankuru Higher Technical Institute.
